In the pause menu you can see how many collectibles of each type you have found. You don’t have to reach the next checkpoint and there’s no need to pick it up again when you die. Starting a new game completely wipes your collectible progress so you must find everything in one playthrough.Īs soon as you pick up a collectible it will be saved right away. After the story you can still revisit all areas by deciphering enigmas. Nothing is missable! However, there is no traditional chapter select.
